Hawk Academy

Sutherland has embarked on providing socio-economic development contributions, in the form of funding, to the Hawk Academy Primary and High School on the East Rand, Gauteng.

The distribution of funding is done on Sutherland’s behalf by the ABCON Group Foundation, an empowerment division of ABLAND Property Developers. The beneficiaries of this funding are school kids from squatter camps with no running water and sanitation. They come from homes where there is no income and they survive on government grants. Some of the squatter camp areas are Angelo, Delport, Makausi, Marathon and Rasta.
